CSR Principles and Promotion Structure

The SoftBank Group has established SoftBank Group CSR Principles as guidelines for the CSR (corporate social responsibility) activities of the entire Group. These principles lay the foundation for sustainable growth, and for earning the trust and support of customers, shareholders, employees, business partners and all our stakeholders. All companies of the Group use these principles to identify priority tasks according to characteristics of their business and its impact on society, and actively promote efforts to realize them.

CSR Promotion Structure

SoftBank Group CSR Working Group

The SoftBank Group has appointed a director of SoftBank Group Corp., the holding company of the Group, as the SoftBank Group Chief CSR Officer with responsibility for facilitating the Group's CSR activities. Each key company within the Group has also assigned a director to the role of CSR Officer. The SoftBank Group Chief CSR Officer leads the efforts to promote CSR activities group-wide as well as announces CSR activity policy of the SoftBank Group. All of the CSR Officers participate in the SoftBank Group CSR Working Group on a regular basis to share information, proceed with major initiatives, and work to raise awareness of CSR among all employees in collaboration with each other.
