Fundamental policy for distribution of profit

SoftBank Group Corp.'s basic policy is to maintain a sound financial status while both developing its business aggressively to ensure sustained growth and returning profits to shareholders. Returns to shareholders include cash dividends, paid twice per year in principle as an interim dividend and a year-end dividend.

Dividend Forecast for Fiscal 2018

The Board of Directors of SoftBank Group Corp. passed a resolution as of April 23, 2019 on dividends from surplus with a record date of March 31, 2019 to the 39th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled on June 19, 2019.

The amount of dividend per share is in line with the forecast of dividend announced in “Consolidated Financial Report for the Fiscal Year Ended March 31, 2018,” dated May 9, 2018.

Together with the interim dividend of JPY 22 per share paid in December 2018, this will bring the annual dividend for fiscal 2018 to JPY 44 per share.

Dividend Forecast for Fiscal 2019

The annual dividend for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2020 to be JPY 44 per share including a interim dividend of JPY 22 per share and year-end dividend of JPY 22 per share.
