Gain on Re-measurement at Fair Value of WILLCOM, Inc.'s Shares HeldJuly 30, 2013
As announced in the press release “Announcement of Consolidation of WILLCOM, Inc. as a Wholly-owned Subsidiary of SoftBank Corp.” dated July 1, 2013, WILLCOM Inc. (“WILLCOM”) became a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. (the “Company”) on the same day. Along with this change, WILLCOM's shares held by the Company (100% of issued shares) were re-measured at fair value. Accordingly, the Company is expecting to record a gain of JPY 103.8 billion, the difference between acquisition cost and fair value, on the consolidated statements of income of the Company for the six-month period ending September 30, 2013.
