Early Repayment of Bridge Loans
SoftBank Group Corp. (“SBG”) today announced that it has decided to prepay, on September 15, 2026, the entire outstanding balance of USD 25.9 billion (approximately JPY 3,981.9 billion*1) under the bridge facility agreement announced in “Execution of Bridge Facility Agreement Primarily for the Follow-on Investments in OpenAI” dated March 27, 2026 and has notified the lenders accordingly. The bridge facility has a total facility amount of USD 40.0 billion, of which an aggregate of USD 30.0 billion has been drawn to date.
