Commencement of Tender Offer by a Subsidiary (Yahoo Japan Corporation)
SoftBank Group Corp. (SBG) announces that its subsidiary Yahoo Japan Corporation (the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, code 4689, “Yahoo Japan”) has resolved at its board of directors meeting held on December 15, 2015, as set out in the attached, to acquire the common stocks and the stock acquisition rights of Ikyu Corporation (the first section of Tokyo Stock Exchange, code 2450) through a tender offer (the “Tender Offer”) under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act (Act No. 25 of 1948; as amended).
The impact of the Tender Offer on SBG's consolidated financial results will be minor.
