Segments

AI Computing Segment

In this segment, semiconductor-related subsidiaries such as Arm, Ampere, and Graphcore are working together to enhance the Group’s semiconductor business toward the realization of ASI (Artificial Super Intelligence).

Arm delivers industry-leading compute platforms that combine exceptional performance with superior energy efficiency, with its technologies deployed across a broad spectrum of products, including smartphones, data-center servers, IoT devices and automotive systems. In March 2026, Arm announced Arm AGI CPU, its first Arm-designed silicon chip since its founding. Designed specifically as a data center CPU for general-purpose cloud and agentic AI workloads, this product marks a significant strategic shift for Arm, extending its compute platform from its established IP licensing and Compute Subsystem (CSS) offerings into the realm of proprietary silicon chips. This development is expected to further accelerate innovation across Arm’s entire ecosystem.
Ampere specializes in designing high-performance, energy-efficient CPUs for AI-driven workloads, built on the Arm compute platform.
Graphcore has a proven track record in the design and development of semiconductor chips specialized for AI.

These semiconductor-related subsidiaries will continue to invest in R&D to build the future of AI computing, while advancing the development of new technologies, including new compute platforms delivered as semiconductor IP, chips, and related technologies, which will enable their customers to develop next generation products.
