Commencement of Tender Offer by a Subsidiary (Yahoo Japan Corporation)
SoftBank Group Corp. (“SBG”) announces that on June 9, 2016 its subsidiary Yahoo Japan Corporation (TSE first section: 4689, “Yahoo Japan”) has resolved to acquire the common shares of eBOOK Initiative Japan Co., Ltd. (TSE first section: 3658) through a tender offer (the “Tender Offer”) under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act (Act No. 25 of 1948; as amended), as set out in the attached.
The impact of the Tender Offer on SBG's consolidated financial results will be minor.
