Comments on Certain Media Reports on March 29
SoftBank Group Corp. notes media reports on the WORLD BUSINESS SATELLITE broadcasted on TV TOKYO on March 29, 2021, where Masayoshi Son, Representative Director, Corporate Officer, Chairman & CEO, SoftBank Group Corp., supposedly mentioned that he was considering launching Coupang in Japan.
SoftBank Group Corp. confirms that Son simply said that providing a similar service in Japan was something that is being considered. He did not make any statement to the effect that Coupang would launch in Japan.
